Suzuki TU250x
My first bike.
A 250cc cafe-racer inspired beaut. Bought her without a scratch and three hundred miles on the speedo. About three hundred twenty five pounds wet, I could flat foot her, and she never gave me any mechanical or electrical problems. Solid, fun (sorta perfect) bike to learn on (I didn’t grow up riding and am about 5’7″). Commuted around Atlanta and rode all around North Georgia, even took ‘er camping before the two of us found some slippery asphalt and went down–just a couple months shy of my one year riding anniversary. I got banged up a bit more than her, but neither of us was worse for wear.
After that, it was time for more–more engine, more weight, more and farther adventures. She went to a good home.
